Au Lac became MCSP
On September 2000 Au Lac Institute became Microsoft Certified Solution Provider.  Au Lac Institute is now the first Vietnamese institution in the Silicon Valley achieving this status.

Community Services
In the past 4 years Au Lac Institute has reserved from 2% to 10% of its revenue toward community services.  Here is a short list of annual events and events that Au Lac Institute has been participated in: 

- Mid-Autumn Festival for Children
- Viet Spring Tech Festival
-Vietnamese Spring Festival
- Summer Teenage Talent Show
- Art & Wine Festival in Milpitas
- Scholarship Program for good students with low income
- Free computers classes for mothers over the age of 50 on Mother's day 
- Milpitas High School Business Experience Day
- Handcrafted and donated 300 lanterns every year to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival event
- Mid-Autumn Festival Art Contest with valuable prizes such as computers, printers, scanners and educational-related software.
- Daily radio program to announce job openings within the Silicon Valley for the Vietnamese community in the Bay Area.  Every day at 3:30 p.m. on AM1430 radio station.
- Weekend radio program to provide high tech information about the high tech industry for the Vietnamese community in the Bay Area. Every Saturday and Sunday at 6:00 p.m. on AM1430 and every night at 9:30 p.m. on AM1500.

Community Involvement
On November 9, 2000, Au Lac Institute has sponsored 10 senior students from the Milpitas High School for  the Business Experience Day organized by the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce and the Milpitas Unified School District.
