Electronics Technician


What will I be doing as a Electronics Technician?

Electronics Technicians perform various tasks such as troubleshooting board, repair machineries, build prototype for engineers, quality control, conducting tests, and perform product evaluation.

What Training and Qualifications Do I need?

Electronics Technicians should have knowledge in electrical circuits, integrated circuits, microprocessors, and digital electronics. Electronics Technicians should be able to read schematic drawings, and have a good concept of troubleshooting techniques.

What is the Job Outlook?

Rising demand for electronic goods—including communications equipment, defense-related equipment, medical electronics, and consumer products—should continue to drive demand. (Source: U.S Department of Labor)

What jobs can I find once I have received a Certificate from AIC ?

Upon completion of the electronics technician program, students can apply for work as electronics technicians, electronics engineering assistant, ICT troubleshooting technicians, functional troubleshooting technicians, equipment maintenance technicians, or field service engineers
